From Jews in Sports:
On his trunks, he wore a Magen David with the initials "FB" in the center. Brami began his career in 1961 as a bantamweight, and knocked out Englishman Brian Cartwright in the eighth round of their bout in February 1963. The following month, he won a ten-round decision over Alex Ambrose in Paris. Two years later, he fought future world flyweight champion Walter McGowen in London and lost a 10-round decision. In 1968, Brami fought WBC featherweight champ Jose Legra in Paris, and was knocked in the first round of their non-title fight. In June 1971, Brami had another non-title bout against Italian Antonio Puddu--who held the European lightweight title--and lost a 10-round decision. Two years later, Brami finally got a title shot when he fought European super featherweight champion Lothar Abend on May 13 in Abend's hometown of Kiel, Germany. Brami lost the bout in the 11th round on a technical knockout and never received another shot at any title. He retired in 1975.
