Two, the something big news has nothing to do with STB. Stay tuned!!!! Joe |

I'm going to take a comment posted by Joe in another thread concerning Baseball For Windows by speculating that a massive update for the game will be available with an audio componet....Jon Miller and Joe Morgan will now call your games!...Wow!...wonder what type of leaf is in my cigar this morning to dream that one up!

STB is Season Ticket Baseball, very similar to OOTP only on CD and distributed through Wizard Works/Infogrames (whatever they are now after the merger).
MLBPA and MLB liscencing is a waste and forces you to leave the cash world for the points world. With the amount of people around working on real roster patches and logos, the MLB and MLBPA liscencing are to be blunt: a waste for any game with a decent editor. All they offer is the right to use names and logos/images officially within the game, thanks to the user community this is (IMO) a waste (plus not something I'd ever use so I wouldn't find the extra cost necessary). I'm hoping its something else... maybe Markus has an announcement about the Mac port of OOTP, or maybe a linux port or something of that nature. Or perhaps its something different all together.... |
