I just bought this game, so do I get any credit for having good taste at least?
Well... my question is about the minor leagues... when do they start up? I played a few months and nobody was collecting any stats... Am i doing something wrong? The second is auto-filling minors... Is that the only option or can i just sign people and dump them down there? What is the difference? Help a brother out... I'm a little dumb, but I'm loyal... and I will continue to play and purchase this game... I'd just appreciate a little help...

You need to go into the "League setup" screen (at the bottom of the "league" drop-down menu.) In the lefthand column you will see an option to simulate minors.
Auto-filling minors basically gives you a full roster in each level of your minor leagues. This is not a necessity. there's some question as to whether you end up with many good prospects as a result. It will basically add new players to whoever you already have in your farm system. You don't need a full roster in each level for the game to simulate the games though. It will just use "ghost players" for positions in which you don't have players. Thanks a lot buddy... It's great to receive help on the issue... I play eastside Hockey Manager to fulfill my Hockey urges and the minors and developing players is my favorite part so I was a little worried for a second...
but anyway, I greatly appreciate it. Yer a good man Charlie Brown...

Now I could SAY ANYTHING here...but I won't.
All I will say is...Lloyd Dobler is one of my favorite characters in all of movie history. And one day, indeed, kickboxing WILL be the sport of the future...

JML...
Lloyd Dobler was a character portrayed by John Cusack in the movie SAY ANYTHING. Lloyd - "If you guys know so much about women, why are you sitting here in front of the Gas & Sip on a Friday night with no women in sight?" Kid - "Personal choice, man."

CHILL!!! YOU MUST CHILL!!!
Actually I'm posting this message because I was wondering if I could borrow a copy of your Hey Soul Classics? "No, my brother, you have to go buy your own." Comer to think of it, I'm going to go play OOTP4 now because I wanna do it so well I get paid for it, because I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that. -------------------------------------------------- Mike Cameron: I don't know you very well, you know, but I wanted to ask you - how'd you get Diane Court to go out with you? Me: I called her up. Mike Cameron: But how come it worked? I mean, like, what are you? Me: I'm Lloyd Dobler. -------------------------------------------------- ----

I got some once because some chick in college who liked that movie WAY too much said I acted a lot like Dobler. Nice, sincere, yet a little aloof, doing my own thing. Popular but not "one of the guys." I don't know how accurate that is, nor do I look like him, but what are you gonna do. You gotta get in where ya fit in.

If you guys know so much about baseball, how come you're sitting here all alone at the Gas-N-Sip on a Saturday night with no MLB players around anywhere?
