When you click on corporate info at the bottom of the main page, you get a pop up window from ea.com.

Is .400 studios a subsidiary of EA, or will EA be distributing their products?

I'm sure that's a late April Fool's joke and probably isn't true.

Really? You think they've partnered with EA. With the bad blood shared between the gamers and EA, it doesn't seem possible.

But, EA would help take these games to the next level.

Perhaps the "real" big announcement is that EA Sports will create a new subsidiary for sports sims ... including FOF.

This is welcomed news for me!!!!

I still play Title Bout on occasion, to have it on the computer will be over the top.

And to think, I just found out about this sim (OOTP4) through gamespot on friday.

Oh joy!

MEET THE TEAM

Markus Heinsohn
CEO | Lead Designer | Out of the Park Baseball / Inside the Park Baseball

Markus Heinsohn is CEO and co-founder of .400 Software Studios, and the lead designer and developer of Out of the Park Baseball and Inside the Park Baseball. In 1999 at the age of 21, Markus developed and released Out of the Park Baseball, a critically-acclaimed baseball simulation now in its fourth iteration. He studied computer science at the University of Hamburg, Germany, and lives in Stade, Germany with his fiancee, Anna.

Joe Stallings
President | Executive Producer

Joe Stallings is President and co-founder of .400 Software Studios, and is the executive producer for all of the .400 Studio game titles. Joe is a 1992 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, and served eight years as Vice President of Marketing for a major investment management firm in the Southeast. He has been featured in the national press as an expert on new media strategies and development. Joe lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Angie and three boys.

*********
Sounds like Markus' big announcement for us is the Inside the Park series...should be a big hit. I can't wait. I agree with the earlier post..he's not ditching us guys; just making himself stronger. Looks like he will also be able to market the games directly to retail since they are now an official studio. Congrat's Markus.
