In 3D mode, if I minimize the OOTP screen then attempt to re-open it, the outside frame appears correctly but the page itself is transparent so that I can see only the Windows desktop. If I leave the game for a while and the screen saver kicks in, the same problem occurs.
In full screen mode, if I switch between programmes (Alt+ Tab), OOTP cannot be restored. It comes up as a black screen. In both cases, OOTP can only be terminated by using CTRL+ALT+DEL. I am running XP in 1024 X 768 resolution. |

How much RAM do you have? There are times when this happens to me as well. Just beware when you have alot of programs open or not much RAM.

Currently 448meg, which should be sufficient for Task Switching.

Thanks for your response. It's a minor inconvenience at worse. I will need to disable the screen saver and not switch between tasks. Small price to pay for such an astounding baseball experience.

This is a problem that has not been addressed. It occurred in OOTP3 and now in OOTP4. It occurs more often than you mention. Not only does it happen in full screen-mode but it happens in windowed-mode on Windows 2000 and XP if your computer auto-locks or sleeps. It's a pain in the butt and I wish it would be fixed.

I've been seeing this exact same problem since OOTP3 on two different laptops, too. It's the only real annoyance I have, since if my screen saver cones on or the laptop screen blanks, my OOTP session is dead.

Yep. I've seen this with this version and the last one as well.
I just have to remember to close OOTP when I walk away from my PC for a long period of time. The thing about it is if you click the x, then click around where the "Do you want to exit, Yes or No" boxes are, if you hit yes, it will shut down normally. Glen
