New Catobase - Old League. Can I import Past Seasons?

A year ago, I started a new historical league (solo) in 1901, with the aim to reproduce the entire history of baseball. I am now into year 1909 and I just found out about Catobase. I installed and ran it and everything works fine. I have a great catobase of the 1909 season.

Is there anyway for me to import my 1901-1908 seasons into the catobase? I do have every year's almanac.

Second question. Is there anyway for the game to handle managers on teams other than the one I control? I am the only manager in the game and I would like to have the other teams have managers without me having to do it manually. Any ideas?

If you have backed up each season before proceeding to the next one, you shouldn't have a problem. It will take some time, but you need to go to each season and to the whole procedure. It's probably worth it to do.

As for managers, sadly, the game doesn't handle them. Hopefully it will someday. There are some nice suggestions for how to do a good job of it manually if you look around in the discussion forum, though.

Took me forever to find the discussion we had on methods to hire/fire/retire managers, but I finally found it here , including the method I use in my solo league.

Hope this helps get you started!

I haven't backed up, just have the almanacs that the game generates. Basically they are season end HTML files.

Sorry to say it, but without actual league file backups, there's no way to get your previous seasons into Catobase.
