OK guys, I managed to put something into the game that will get rid of most of the problems there are with the new roster rules:
*drumroll* DESIGNATED FOR ASSIGNMENT *applause* ![]() So, there is a new area in the transaction screen, called 'Designated for Assignment'. What does this mean? Whenever you want to make a roster move, you can designate a player for assignment. That means, that he is taken off your 25 and 40 man roster, and placed into this 'limbo area'. Now you have 10 days (adjustable, but this is the MLB rule) in order for him to clear waivers, demote him, release him, or move him wherever you want (if the move is possible, for example a player with a MLB contract cannot be moved to the minors without being on the 40 man roster). Also, when you receive players in a trade or sign a free agents, they get placed in this area there as well. Now, this thing needs to be tested by the beta testers, and after that the patch is ready for release

Markus, that is great news. The updates you've had over the past couple of weeks have been excellent--I enjoy knowing what's going on with the game. I hope you continue to keep us all aware of your progress in the future. It is greatly appreciated.
Dave

YES!!!! I have about 28 owners in my league who will be singing your praises in bars across Ohio for the next few weeks. I hope the drunken-man publicity will help the game

Great news, indeed. Now hopefully the beta testers will find that the designated for assignment feature works perfectly (along with all the other new bug fixes and changes) so we can get the patch in the hands of all your grateful fans as soon as possible!
