This is the Red Sox's year. Boston in five...

It is Boston's year, but the Yankees aren't that weak, Boston in six.

I'd say Boston in 5 the Yankees pitching will blow it for them.

I think the sox will pull the monkey off there back and win this series. However, i do think it will go 7 games. A Sox/Yanks series just wouldn't be right if it didn't go seven. hehe

Yankees in 7, on a home run by A-Rod in the bottom of the ninth. Prepare to suffer, Red Sox fans

I really think Boston will win this on in no more than 6. My gut tells me 5.
Don't put me in that same pool of fans who kept thinking year after year who thought they would, b/c half the time I knew they wouldn't. This year, the Yanks simply don't have the pitching for a 7 game series. You can mention their hitting, but IMO Boston will hit right along with them. It's the playoffs, it's boston vs NY, I WANT A FIGHT!!! |

No bias here: This is the first time I've ever expected them to beat the Yankees. Why? Pitching.
The Yankees this year are built like the Sox have historically been built. Hitting first (and look how that's worked out for us). The Yankees' 4.69 ERA is the second highest in franchise history. That's pretty alarming. On the road their team ERA is a disgusting 5.30. Put that up against one of the greatest offenses of all time and you have a bad situation for the Yanks. The Yanks are no joke, but the Sox are far more balanced. Sox in 6 |
