Kerry-Bush I

"Well, Chuck, what did you think of that scrap?"

"Biff, there were no knockdowns, but I thought Bush got shook up a few times along the ropes."

"Yeah. Kerry did look much better than I thought he would. He landed his shots and had Bush on the defensive more than once. Bush got in his shots, but Kerry rolled with them, and counter-attacked well."

"The rematch should be something to see. I predict Bush will come out swinging."

"Thanks, Chuck. And thank you ladies and gentlemen for letting us into your homes. Remember to count the silverware before you go to bed."

If Bush had a chance to win a debate it was last night when it was about foreign policy. To be honest, Bush doesn't know much about that either, I assume the Neo-cons didn't drill enough info into him. All I ever hear is evil doers this and evil doers that.

As a conservative, I really don't have an option this election. Bush is a liberal and Kerry is a Global Socialist at best and a Communist at worst. Plus, he looks too much like Lerch, though he appears more Presidential than does Bush.

President Bush would be well serverd to pull up lame for the next two debates or he may lose the slim margin that he now maintains. He has no shot on domestic policy. Bush wants to give away 1/2 the house whereas Kerry will give away all the house and two future houses to be name later. Both parties are on the path to ruin the country, its just how fast one wants to get to that point.

If Kerry wins Ohio or Florida, he wins. If Bush holds on in Ohio and Florida, he wins.

Being a flaming liberal I don't have a real option either. Kerry is just the lesser of two evils.

Calling Bush a liberal is laughable though. What polices of his can you consider liberal?

It's hard to call Bush anything but a Neo-Con. With the way the deficit is and these empire building, democratizing the world policies.

Good grief, I’d rather have a TRUE conservative in office than these lunatics.

Don't forget the Gore v. Busch fight, ,,Al had him decisively beaten on points but ole George still got the win despite a controversial decision.
Kerry will have to knock him out to take his title
Edwards/Cheaney may be a barn burner

I saw some comments the other week from someone saying Bush and Kerry are the same, whoever wins is a puppet. The come back was that different people are pulling Kerry's strings.

For the sake of the planet, Bush has to go down.

The seniors prescription drug plan is a liberal idea that Presdent Bush signed. I assume he did so to get two more votes in Florida this November. Its a policy that the federal government shouldn't have anything to do with and will only lead to medical coverage for all paid for by the federal government. Can we afford that? No.

Bush is a 70's liberal and a huge disappointment to a conservative. He hasn't cut spending as he promised to do 4 years ago. Many federal programs need to go the way of the dodo.

Can we please tko the political talk I winced when i first saw the post but saw that Cap was pretty much writing a humor piece with no political undertones to it. I come here to think of something else besides politics.

OK. Since Bush lifts weights and runs everyday, I think he will KO Kerry inside of 3 rounds. Kerry looks too much like a "girly man".

I honestly gave Bush the very close decision on that one. It was all Kerry til RD.7 or 8 when he said he wanted to get the troops in Iraq the money and equipment they need to do thier job, he voted against the extra funding to do that. That cost him that debate in my opinion. If you say you are for something then you better stand through the good or the bad. I like Bush for a couple of reasons: 1. He does not sway from what he believes in and 2. He is and always has been an outspoken Christian. I dont care who wins really, all i know is Bush put more money in my pocket with his tax reform. I am a father of 3 and my wife does not work and that extra money on income tax time really does help when i need it. Kerry plans to take that away and i do not like it.

I hear that. Under Clinton, I was having to pay the Gov. around 1,000 per year. With Bush, I get back about 2,500. Why should the sluggards of society live out of my pocket?

I believe you are wasting your breath (or moving your fingers needlessly). Obviously judging from the couple of posts after your excellent and concise post, this thread is for the hearing impaired (or reading impaired).
