Skins for OOTP 6

Can we use the skins from V5 and if not I can only find one skin for V6 (ESPN skin). Are there any other skins for v6 ?

Thanks for your help

OOTP 5 skins can be used for OOTP 6. Some look a bit blurry but most look good. Check out the skins section at the Download Center for some skins. I think Shub's ESPN skin was the only one made especially for OOTP 6 so far.

Well there are differences between the v5 and v6 skins, version 6 has a number of additional for sliders buttons etc.. Actually I think my old time skin was the first completed for v6, I call it old time but it can be used for other periods with different default screens. You can see some examples and download it from http://www.nmleague.com/oldtimeskin.htm

Thought I'd put this question here as it kind of has something to do with skins,ok here goes.I have OOTP 6 and when it's running some of the stuff is really hard to see like when you put the standings up the writing is directly on the background pic so it's hard to read where as I've noticed on pics of skins I've seen the writing is on a different colour background usually white,it's like when I put my team page up the background is the blue one of the pitcher and hitter and the bottom right as team stats and such well their in blue and some are near impossible to read hopefully you guys will understand and can help.

When I first got V5 or V6, the screen was not clear and it was hard to read.

Don't know if you have the same problem as I did. I think my problem was solved by turning off the 3D in the game configuration folder. You might post it on the V6 troubleshooting/bugstech support forum. I'm sure you will get a definitive answer there. Don't take my word for it. I could be wrong.

Glad it helped you.

Thanks for the offer...maybe you can save it a few years for dbacks...he's about 15 now and has a few years to go before he is legal.

One of these days very soon, my wife and I intend to take a trip to Europe...she retires this November from teaching college...31 and a half years. Maybe you can get me an iced-cold RC Cola and a moonpie (a marshmellow filled cake). That should really taste good in Merry Olde England.

Hmmm dunno bout that we don't have any good lagers aka Bud I grant you that but we have good bitters which are classed as real ales, lager wise though most people over here drink Bud or Fosters which is an Aussie beer but I prefer Red Stripe which is a Jamaican beer and Dbacks doesn't have to wait long if he wants a beer over here, don't forget the legal age over here is 18.

There seems a few people from Germany involved in OOTP a couple of lads in one of the leagues I'm in are from Germany, dunno what the ratio is for say non North Americans but most I've come across are either English or German, but as long as Bayer Leverkusen keep stuffing those Real Madrid over priced rejects then Germans are ok with me lol.

Yeah there are actually quite a few German baseball/OOTP fans out there. There is actually a whole league (24 teams) with only German GM's. I think it is the only non english spoken OOTP league out there.

About Bayer Leverkusen, yeah that win against Real was impressive and yesterday my favourite ballclub won against Ajax Amsterdam 4-0. But Man U did pretty good, too.

Well as Bayern Munich fan you know that because of 1999 I will hate Man U for the rest of my life, too. I'm not older than you and the first game I remember seeing with a english club is Everton. About Borussia Mönchengladbach they once had the best German players (Berti Vogts, Netzer, Bongartz) and were dominant in the late 70ies and early 80ies but haven't been really good for the past 10 years. They had a up in 1995/96 when Stefan Effenberg was with them.

How did you get a baseball fan, is there any baseball in England or is the MLB on TV ?

I had been working on some metallic skins, an example of which can be found in another thread. Need to make some adjustments so the text will show up better and they're not really compatible with OOTP6 yet.
