Game won't continue to next day

I just started a new league. The first game/day played (simmed), errored without finishing. When I restart OOTP and go to the league I see that the current day is still the first day but all of the games are completed. I can see the game log and everything. But if I try to sim day (or week or season) to progress to the next day I get an error and OOTP quits.

Any help?

I do not have SP2 installed. BTW I can sim other leagues.

To Support: I am attempting to add a bmp screenshot of the error message but I keep uploading it but don't see it in the post.
