Catobase error: "Invalid use of null"

When creating HTML files from the Catobase utility, I run into a problem when creating a team's Park History:

"Error 94 - Invalid Use of Null"

...any suggestions?

I've hit this error a few times. I was always able to continue generating pages afterwards, but I bet there will be pieces missing from the reports when you're done. Mine has led to a problem with the computation of pitching win shares, for example.

Any idea how to fix. If I dig into the tables what should I look for in order to edit so I can generate the HTML.

I get this exact same error first when generating

White Sox Schedule Splits

I click ok and it continues but SKIPS generating any other teams schedule splits

Then I get the error again on when generating

Park History White Sox

When I click Ok no this second error, the whole thing bombs out, and I press OK a million times on a bogus error until the program finishes.

Which indicates our problem is a known problem, but we have to wait for the next update.

I just wish I knew what the problem was so I could at least work around it temporarily.

Thanks, Dave. I noticed the same thread you mentioned, but was hoping someone would have a workaround for it. I suppose I'll archive my year-end league files and do a several at once (assuming we'll have to wait for an update).

I don't want this message to be interpreted as bitching about Catobase, however. It's a great add-on that adds a ton of depth to the whole 'fake baseball' experience.

I'm still trying to find a work around, I guess I'll just go back to 6.0.0 which has been the last version to work for me.

Yeah, I had no idea what caused it. Good to know that it will be addressed in the update though.

Just an FYI. I tried every version all the way back to 6.0.0, they all crashed EXCEPT 6.0.0. So if you need CATO and can't wait you might also be able to use 6.0.0. without crashing.
