why catobase dont show pitcher era for splits vs righty and vs lefty.? its blank

how would you count the Earned Runs? would you count runs driven in by left/right handed batters? Or runs scored by left/right-handed baserunners?

I think that is why it isn't calculated and if i'm not mistaken isn't calculated in real life

It's calculated in the stats section of mlb.com, though I'm not sure how they do so.

Yes, very difficult to calculate innings pitched to certain handedness of hitters as well as earned runs, etc.
