NFL Loser's Pool: Week 1
It’s time for the OOTP 2nd Annual Losers Pool.
Last year’s champion The Professor will be on hand to defend his title. We began the pool last year with 38 people but within 8 weeks of games we were down to 3 participants. The Prof wrapped up his win nicely on week 9 and avoided taking the seemingly “gimmee” games that knocked out his competition along the way. Rules: Post one loser each week from among all the NFL games on tap. You cannot pick the same team twice during the course of the season. The pool is single elimination; if your pick wins their game you are out. Last person standing is the winner and can run smack on the rest of the participants all winter and spring. If more than 1 person is still standing at the end of the regular season the tiebreaker will involve playoff teams. I'll post a list of the games each week. If you are picking from a Thursday or Saturday game you must have that pick in before that game kicks off, otherwise all picks will have to be in before the first kickoff each Sunday. If you miss a week you're out. No exceptions to the above rules. Good luck! Thursday, September 9 Indianapolis at New England Sunday, September 12 Arizona at St. Louis Baltimore at Cleveland Cincinnati at N.Y. Jets Detroit at Chicago Jacksonville at Buffalo Oakland at Pittsburgh San Diego at Houston Seattle at New Orleans Tampa Bay at Washington Tennessee at Miami Atlanta at San Francisco Dallas at Minnesota N.Y. Giants at Philadelphia Kansas City at Denver Monday, September 13 Green Bay at Carolina, 9:00 p.m. EDIT: Pool will be capped at 50 participants, not including those who entered last year.

<------- One of the suckers wiped out when Houston beat Miami.
This year, I'll see if I can kill myself quickly by picking Jacksonville to lose to the Bills.
