If you created a league you should already have a league file.

IF that is what you are asking about, my first question is - Have you played for more than one season in an online league yourself? If not, I'd say you need to do this AND help out the commish of the league BEFORE beginning a league yourself. Just my opinion and doing this will save you and your GM's alot of headaches.

The "league file" is how we reference the complete league directory including all subdirectories within.

We zip up the complete directory and that becomes the "league file".

This will commonly produce a very large file. There are various techniques used to reduce the file size. The most important is to remove all HTML files, they are not needed. Other things include removing other unnecessary files such as team/player pics. Also, only zipping up files that changed from the last league update will help. You'll find all sorts of threads in the online league forum with different strategies to decrease your league file size.

Is that the fastest and smallest way to make the league file?
