Invalid Player File

Alright, so I was going to start up my League that I had been playing one day, and it says Invalid Player File and the game froze. So I thought, ok, something must have just screwed up, oo well, no biggie. Well, it happened again, I was about half way through the season, and it wont let me load it up because of an invalid player file. I am playing on OOTP 5 and my computers OS is XP. I really dont know what to do to pervent this, and I wanted to see if anyone else had to deal with the same problem.

Unless you have a backup copy of the file(league) there isn't anything you can do to get the league back. How much free HD space do you have? Have you had any crashes, lock ups, etc while playing? Have you deleted any leagues or files recently?

I have about a few gigs of space on my HD, and actually, I do experience some crashes, but never during the game play, its always when the game is saving right before it exit's (so when it says, do you want to quit, then it automatically saves it once you click yes). Thats about it though, I think it could possibly be the roster file that I used to start the league with.

Could be, try using a different one or starting a different type of league as the game shouldn't be crashing while saving or at any other time that I am aware of. You may even try d/l the roster set you are currently using again to get a fresh d/l.
