Looking for help with Coranto news
Ever since the USBA online league site was moved from the old official server to the new one, Coranto news program has not worked for the USBA. I have asked many folks for help and still cannot get it to work. I have received lots of suggestions on how to fix it but so far nothing has worked. I have asked people who themselves have installed Coranto on their league site without resolution. Even Andreas is stumped. At this point, I am desperate! I welcome any hints or suggestions on fixing this matter. If I had the skills, I would dump the whole thing but as it is, my only hope is to try and fix it.
Anyone up to the task? ![]() link in the sig email: Legend_baseball@yahoo.com

Ouch, no replies!
I have emailed Andreas (keeper of the Official League Server) but I have not heard back for many days. I have a hard time believing no one in this community can figure out Coranto news! I have asked a number of commissioners of leagues who use it but most have told me someone else set it up for them so they can't help.

I don't post much on the board but do a ton of reading. Wouldn't mind helping you out. I've never used Corranto but am knowledgable with PHP and MySQL so it shouldn't be that bad.
Best place to get me is on AIM (NJohnF). |

Ya, Coranto is CGI. I did set it up for CBL, but that was about 3 years ago and dumped it a year later and started using the feature Ikonboard has. Not as powerful but works for what we use it. Anyway, what's exactly the problem and when is it popping up?

I am revisiting this. I had a couple people taking a hard look at it but we have not gotten it to work.
Treches, basically when you post a new article, coranto sends the article to the old server that formerly housed the USBA. I can't get Coranto to recognize the new server. It seems like it would be something simple.

I'm speaking from memory here, but Coranto had the paths written in more than one place. Meaning that even if you think you've changed them all under Change Settings, fact is there might be a few left untouched if there's an archive, what looks to be the case here. Best bet would be backing up nsettings.cgi, then opening it up and search out the path info there to check if everything is OK.
