Cannot play game because........

First it says...NODIRECTDRAWHW.....then another popup says Error InitDirectDraw......please help, i need this game to work on this computer.....thanks alot

I think it has something to do with the 3D graphics...what can i do????

did you try disabling 3D?

Yes I did, and I also changed my monitor size, now it is working correctly i believe...thanks for the response.

Go into the “game”(OOTP, ITP, etc) folder and open the "game config" file, toggle the 3d setting, close those things and try the game again.

If that doesn't solve it, go to start then run and type dxdiag and hit enter. The direct X utility will open and it will let you know what version of direct X you are have installed. If it is less than v9 go to http://www.microsoft.com download and install v9, reboot your computer and then try the game again.

One of these two things should get things going. Please let me know if you are still having problems after trying both of these.
