Newbie...please answer my questions.

Longtime Baseball Mogul user. Created many rosters for Baseball Mogul. Just have a few questions.

1.Where can I find rosters with "real" players. And is it updated?
2. Once you put the game on 2 PC's, but want to put it on a 3rd PC, how do I unlicense it from another PC?
3. How do you Edit players? Is there a certain game mode for this? How do I create players?

I am thinking about purchasing the game 2nite, but if my questions cannot be answered I will choose otherwise. Thanks alot for your time.

1 - Try the Mods forum. There are many people who make (and update) rosters sets of real players.

2 - Someone else knows more on this than I do.

3 - There is generally an always-available editor whenever you view players where you can change many things. This though is not available in the "Manager Mode", though I believe there is a mod for doing editting when playing that way.

The newest patch is always with the game when you are first downloading it as far as I have ever seen.

If you have any more questions or need more clarification, people will be glad to help here if you ask. Usually someone comes by at some point and can give good answers. Always trying to pull more into the OOTP fold

The best real rosters are probably Cbl's from what Ive heard- do a search for real rosters or cbl cardinal and they should come up.

To unlicense, go to your control panel, click on the e-license window, and right click - I believe an unlicense option shold come up.

the newest patch should be where you downloaded the game originally from- if you just bought it, its probably updated anyway.

As long as you're not in manager mode, I think you can edit players- just click on the edit button.

btw- give the demo a whirl- might be useful.

Also....when you download the roster file, how do you upload it so you can use the rosters?
*You said control panel....as in my hard drive control panel or does the game have this option?
* Lastly, when you Download a patch does it install itself automatically?

I was always a Baseball Mogul Fan....but I was very disappointed with the new version and heard great things about this game, but want everyhting squared away before I buy it...thanks so much for your help

no, just unzip to the directory you installed the original game to

and i believe you cant toggle between the two (manager vs. non), but you might wait for confirmation on this (never use manager mode)
