Ft. Benton Defenders logo needed

Ft. Benton Defenders logo needed.

Do it your way...or use my suggestions.

Use same colors as scotto...add white/rust frame if possible...that is, put a white border and a rust border around the entire logo...no bevel or shadows if possible.

Please make sure the black is not a true black, which doesn't show up well on the game screens.

Here is an example:

Ft. Benton is a military town of 35,000...smallest population-wise in the Federal Baseball Association...located in the rugged northeastern part of Ruthlandia (named for Babe Ruth) in the Appian Mountains, which forms the northern border of the country...situated on the only land route into the country...the Appian Pass...the town is named for the garrison town and fort that has protected the nation from invaders down through the years...still a military training base and site of the army college...also home of the Ft. Benton Defenders...named in honor of the soldiers that have so long defended the nation...the Defenders play at a field that incorporates parts of the old fort for its outfield walls.

I am really honored...this is my first logo by Cuss16.

I agree with you...I am a selfish S.O.B...but it only comes out when my request gets near the bottom.

And as always, your logo is very well done...colors, lettering, sword and font are excellent.

Two revisions if you would...could you make Ft. Benton larger so it will show up better in the game...just use FtB...like StL (cardinals)...do it the fancy Cuss16 style if you like...and add a white and rust border around the edges of the logo...or black and rust if you prefer.

Glad to see you are active on the board again. Your logos have been missed.

Appreciate the support guys and thanks for the nice comments. Here are the revisions, I may have misunderstood what you meant by border, I added an outline, or a stroke if you will, to the logo. Let me know if I screwd it up.

Thanks to you I only have 4 more logos to go.

I have already started the league...have played 4 days so far.

It really is a great graphics league with fine logos and great Teflon Skies and Henry stadiums and great photos by Tiger Fan, LivnLegend and Killebrew.

It is really great playing out games. My seaport cities all have stadiums with views of the water...cities in the mountains have mountain views...cities located on rivers have river views.

In my second fictional league that I already have great logos (a few need to be worked on for splotches and spots), I have not installed the stadiums and just use the default stadium. It really is bland and boring when compared to Teflon and Henry's stadiums. They really add another dimension to the game. Fine logos make it special, too.

I really appreciate all of the logos you guys have done for me.

I will soon get Photoshop or some other graphics software and see if I can get respectable at logos.

I was merely stating the obvious.

Anyway, I don't know how I skipped over your post Eugene, but after reading it just now, it really sounds like a great league, and something that should be very enjoyable. Just remember to backup your league often, as unexpected problems may occur with your computer at any time. I'd hate to see a league like yours, where you've invested so much time into it, go down the tube because of a problem with the game or your computer.

It really is a lot of fun when you create a mythical country and baseball league. It add a little "lagniappe" to the game like stadiums, logos and photos.

("lagniappe"...pronounced "lan-yap" ...is Cajun French for "something extra"...storekeepers used to give a little gift to customers for making a purchase at their stores...comes from the spanish "la napa"...meaning "gift")

I have decided to create another country adjacent to Ruthlandia...probably call it Tycobbia. Each year play a World Series for the title.

Don't get nervous...I already have the logos...just got to get a few of them touched up for spottiness and splotches that show up on the Team Setup and Main Game screen.

Thanks for all the help you gave me. If it hadn't been for you teaching me how to download logos, I may never had added them, stadiums and photos.

Plus you did me about 40 fine logos.

Thanks for the advice to backup...I have 2 hard drives...I have everything backed up on Hard Drive D...my backup hard drive...and regularly back up during the season.

You taught me how to download logos...but unfortunately, you never taught me how to post them.

I don't have any idea how to do it.

If it is not to much to ask...walk me through it.

It would a good thing for me to know.
