Oldest OOTP Historical League Opening

Their is an opening in the MLBC for an owner of the Boston Braves. We are currently simming 1939. The Braves are a solid team with the likes of Joe Gordon, George Selkirk, Wally Moses, Harlond Clift, Dizzy Trout and Kirby Higbe on the roster. We are a historical league that uses Ankits career average database, we do not use financials so as to avoid free agency. The MLBC is the oldest historical league to use OOTP to my knowledge, we started with OOTP2 for the 1905 season and are currently using OOTP6. You will need to own the OOTP6 version of the game to join. If you are interested please click on the link below and check us out, you can email the commish from the website and let me know if you would like to take over the Braves.

CBL started with V2 but isn't a historical league, Dino.

Your league (GDBA) started at about the same time depending on who's memory is being tapped (Cooley/Jestre)

It was my understanding that the GDBA used a different game system in its early stages and didnt switch over to OOTP until after the MLBC started. So technically the GDBA is either older or just as old as MLBC but hasnt been on OOTP as long.

I'll let Jestre have the glory of claiming MLBC is the oldest OOTP historical league around. Cause I'm a nice guy like that, and I have big shaking boobs so all is well.

GDBA was run using HH back during the OOTP1 era, I'd say, but we changed our entire era upon starting to use OOTP2 in about August following the v2 release, so I'd say GDBA is the oldest league, but MLBC is the oldest OOTP league.

If that's the case then Mr. Jestre has the "most seasons with a conventional sim pace" going for him.

For the record the MLBC was started by Brent Dehart, he turned over commish duties to me in the 1917 season. Brent started the league with OOTP2 for the inaugural 1905 season and still gm's the Reds.

Jeez, what's with all these long running leagues passing over the reigns of the fed to different guys? Is there any long running league out there with the original commish?
