Lineup program

Hey, is there any word on a lineup program for ootp6, similar to what the FHL sim has? This would be for GMs who don't have ootp obviously, which would make it easier on the commissioners who welcome those guys to the league. If such a program was developed, I really think it would open up the leagues to a lot more people while potentially boosting ootp sales (increased brand recognition).

lineup

There is an Excel spreadsheet that one can use to help generate a lineup, it’s in these OOTP forums somewhere.

The question has already been asked and the answer is an obvious no. You lose (not gain) sales when you make utilities to support those without the game. Why not just buy the game instead of trying to find ways around it?

I misread this part. I was wondering why one would need a lineup aide, since the game is capable of generating decent lineups.

Surely a great majority of OotP players who don’t have the game are not capable of buying the game, either because they don’t have the money, or because they can’t get a credit card. I don’t think there are many people, if any, who participate in online leagues and voluntarily abstain from buying the game.

Err, I don't think so.

You think that the owners who participate in OotP leagues without owning the game have voluntarily chosen not to buy the game? I disagree.

Like Jesse said, most of the guys that partake in online leagues without the game do so because they can't afford the game for one reason or another or have no way of buying it. If a person can afford the game I'm sure 99.9% of them would buy it so it would be easier on them and everyone else that is in the league they're in. I imagine there are a select few who purposely don't own the game but still want to be in online leagues, but there aren't many of them around.
