No coaches?

I've just created a new standard league, I've imported stadiums, photos and logos, everything seemed fine until I realised I had no coaches nor any money to hire any. What did I do wrong?

Steve, yep, both of what you mentioned are enabled!

No clue, don't know anything about the league if all the files are there, etc.

If you turned coaches/scout or finances off any time during the setup of the league, the coaches option won't be active until the following season. In the meantime, the game will use the abilities of an "average" coach/scout.
