Possible Squeeze bunt bug..

Now I am not sure if this affects the Success rate of the Squeeze bunt, or maybe this is just strictly cosmetic... but I have noticed that the batters happen to squeeze on a count that is NOT 0-0.

Happened to me the other day when I had 2 1-1 counts where the batter squeeze bunted.... Both times he scored, but thats not the point.

I was wondering what the batter was doing for the other 2 pitches?

You only get 1 shot at a Squeeze play since the batter is running full speed to home plate.

Or maybe I am totally missing the boat and the batter was going to take 2 pitches before making the squeeze? Not sure.

could be that the sign didn't come until the third pitch.

IRL, with the squeeze, it's tough to "do it again" if you don't get it down the first time (foul ball), unlike a sac bunt.

I get the feeling he's talking about why the computer can do it, but not a human player, as you will never end up with a 1-1 count unless there was a passed ball with 0-1 or if someone on base gets a stolen base.
