Extremely Strange crash problem.

In the 83rd game of the 2005 season, my game shuts down and crashes.

As soon as I try to simulate or play that game (I have tried to get around this game, by playing or simming it in every way).

The game just freezes and crashes.

I have reinstalled 2x.

restarted tons of times, still no dice.

Comp specs. Dell
2.53 Gig processor, 512 MB ram, P4
Windows XP Home Edition
Nvidia Gforce4 MX 420

Just when I try to play this game it crashes.

*edit* yes I do have the latest version of OOTP 6.

Alright I have managed to get past the first few games, but every other game it seems to keep crashing... I have no clue what its doing.

I keep reloading, but unless I make significant changes to the lineup each game it seems to crash...

At first I though it was because it was putting Josh Phelps in 2x (both at DH) but it still crashes even after i "fix" that mistake.

I see to be able to Sim/play one game if I load another saved game, then reopen the one I want to be playing.

That seems to work for a single game, then it crashes again.

Again I have reinstalled numerous times.

(Yes direct X is updated)

Windows has been updated as well and so has my Video card...

All Drivers Have been updated.

I don't understand this statement... you put him in 2 times as DH ?

Nope I wasn't putting him in as DH 2x... the Computer was actually trying to Default him into the Lineup 2x as DH.

It was very weird... I didn't have a catcher (note this was on the pregame lineup card) and Josh Phelps was batting as the DH (yes it said DH 2x) in the 6 and 7 Holes.

I THOUGHT this was related to the crash issue, but it was not. I fixed this certain issue (made sure I started all the games with a Catcher and a DH and no one was slotted in at the same position.

This crash issue is still happening *pulls hair out* arrrrrrg.

OK I FIXED THE CRASH BUG!

Basically it was a problem with my rosters... if I don't have enough Depth OR 1 player is very skilled at another position... When you get the Computer to GENERATE Lineup based on Depth chart it can some times dupelicate players and insert them 2 times in the line up.

Whenever you try to start the game it will crash immediately.

Yes I do.

It still has the possiblity to generate a bugged line up though... I needed to go back and maunally correct it.
