The Rankings

I thought the different organizations were supposed to rank differently? So far, after one "game year"... the rankings for each title is identical. Do I have to wait until my fighters get 10 more fights under their belt (no pun intended)?

Also, what does that little box that says Max Rank mean? What is its function?

Right now I only have about a dozen guys with 10 fights or more and that are ranked... but they are all ranked the same. Thanks in advance for any help.

The different title rankings are always identical for me as well. Sometimes one fighter will switch places with another by one place if I switch between the different organisations, but on the whole they are identical which never changes for me.

As for 'max rank', this means how many fighters to show in the title rankings screen. So if this is set as 20, each organisation will rank the top 20 fighters of the division. If you set it at 50, the organisations will produce rankings of the 50 top fighters in the division, and so on.

Actually working on another method and hope to rectify this because nothing we have tried seems to be giving us the results we want. Seems like it should be simple but it isn't! Will keep trying though!

Hi, Tom. I sure am glad to hear that you haven't given up on fixing those rankings. I'm no programmer, but it does seem like it may be tougher than it looks. Keep trying though. Guess you have to give some kind of weight to the opponent's ranking prior to a given fight, eh? I suppose if you are someone who quick sims dozens of fights at a time with many of the same boxers, it's liable to impact differently than someone who, during a session, uses any one fighter only once. I tend to ponder individual match-ups quite a bit when my top contenders or favourite non-contenders are involved, so I don't usually run a lot of fights. At the rate I'm going, I could be playing TBCB for years!

I have different rankings on the WBA and WBO tittles but the others are the same. Could be a fluke
