Established 1998 Historical League (v5) Royals Opening

ABL Old-School is about to conclude it's 3rd season and is looking for a Royals owner. The league began play with 1996 and is about to conclude the 1998 season. Unlike many historical leagues, we started with Minor League systems and each year those Minor League Systems are added to during the annual June Draft. Players enter the league based on the year they're drafted and not their debut year. This allows us to watch them grow for 2-4 years before reaching the Majors. We have an active message board with plently of quality articles. The League uses a Free Agent compensation system and GM's vote for the All-Star starters with the LCS winning Managers selecting the reserves.

The Royals have a solid young team which includes two 7AR runs Starting Pitchers (30 year old Kevin Appier and 23 year old Jose Rosado) as well as a outstanding closer in Jamie Bluma (3 years-3 30 save seasons-2 Sub 2 ERA's) The Royals can also hit. Aside from David Justice (6/8/7) the Royals have a highly touted young OFer called Vladimir Guerrero as well as Paul Konerko (Good in Hits, Brillant in Homeruns.) Finally, the Royals have 3B Bud Roberts (good in hits and HR, brillant in BB.)
