Wherefore art the 4CBA?

The 4 Corners Baseball Association was the parent of my National Pastime Baseball League, which shares many of its operating principles. Jason Kroner was a 4CBA owner who, inspired by that league, founded the NPBL in December 2002. Many of the 4CBA’s owners joined the NPBL, and gave it a healthy birth.

I have heard that the 4CBA is no more; its former website is down. The league had history, and was a first generation v4 league; it started in the Spring of 2002.

Fare well, 4CBA owners.

Eh, what a shame. Now Sluggin' Sammy Stauder will never hit 1,000 home runs.

He was the most prominent casualty of the league.

That's too bad. I always hate to see leagues dissolve. Especially leagues that I've actually heard of.

I won that league's first championship with Stonehenge. It was the last online league title I ever won!

Out of respect for the legend's last title, we shall post the championship banner as a remembrance of things that once were....

The font on that championship banner is an odd one. Is that the Stonehenge "Doritos"?
