Owners needed!

The long running Four Bases Baseball League is re-organizing. Phil Orr has decided not to continue running the league, and has given me permission to give it a try.

The FBBL is a long running, successful league that was run as a talent only league until 2012. When the conversion to OOTP6 compromised hidden ratings, we fast simmed 2013-2022, and then ran a fantasy draft. We are currently preparing for the 2023 season. We have switched to no visible talent ratings, no star ratings... we go on stats only, which promises to be a whole new experience

After our long delay, we will definitely need quite a few new owners. I have asked the old owners to let me know by Monday if they want to keep their teams, and after that I will give teams to newcomers on a first come first served basis.

I have set up a new site and new discussion boards.

We still need more owners.

And I want to take a moment to put in a plug for the "no visible talent ratings" system. This really adds to the the fun factor in minor league management and in trading. Just for example, with this system, you never get a message saying that some guy's talent went up or down, so you are forever watching your (and others') players trying to read the signs as to how useful a player is likely to be in the future.

I'm assuming we will run 10 game days every other real life day.

The FBBL was a fun league, and I have nothing but good memories of Beorn as an owner. I highly recommend this league. With Phil O. out of the commish seat, it's now safe to join

The FBBL is now underway for its 2023 season, but we could really use two more owners: Anaheim and Washington
