Novice needs help to convert jpg's to bmp's

LivnLegend has 2 fine facepacks...but one is .jpg...and being computer-challenged, I need help to convert them to .bmp.

I understand I have to get software to do it.

I would appreciate any help you can give me.

I will need detailed instructions to download the software...LivnLegend gave me the names of software (Thumb Batch and Irfanview), but I went to the sites and couldn't figure out what to download.

I will also need detailed instructions on how to use the software to get the photos converted. Once they are converted, I know how to install them in the game.

Get Irfanview. It's free and it's at http://www.irfanview.com and it does a batch convert from .jpg to .bmp.

All that you have to tell it - using an easy-to-use interface - is what format to change from and to, and where the existing files are, and where you want the new ones to go.

It's easy as eating pancakes.

I forget, does butter go on first or is it the syrup? I always get that part confused.

He said "eating pancakes", not preparing them to eat. To eat - grab a fork and put them in your mouth.

I tried that but the pancakes were too large to consume at once. It would be easier if they were smaller I guess.

Anyway, Eugene, hope you have it all figured out. If not, I'd be happy to help if I can.

MD: thanks for the help...it is very much appreciated.

LL: thanks for the great photopacks and the offer to help.

Life is truly wonderful...Today I may have been taught how to download and convert jpg's...and you have taught me how to eat pancakes. What would I do without you guys?

Now I'm off to see if I can follow MD's instructions.

Just be careful with that syrup if you heat it up!

Holy Downloads, Batman...can you believe computer-challenged Eugene downloaded the Irfan software using Malleus Dei's instructions...and can you believe he even converted LL's great photopack from jpg to bmp?

But guess what, Batman? He needs the help of superheros to get them to work in OOTPB. He has them in the league photos folder...he enabled them in the league setup section...all the photos are numbered properly and show up in the folders...and yet...no photos in the game.

What's he doing wrong, Batman?
(the Dynamic Duo quickly exited and went to IHOP for some pancakes without solving this problem)

If Batman and Robin can't solve my dilemma, I hope some of you SuperMods can do it.

Maybe I'll even buy you some pancakes.

Please help.

League - > League Setup -> Misc. Setup -> Enable All Player Photos (in the Miscellaneous Functions section on the left).

That should probably do it.

Thanks, eriqjaffe, I appreciate the help, but I knew how to do that using Killebrew's set.

It gives a message that the "file not found", when you go to a player's page.

All the photos are in the league photos folder...LL Photo 1 and LL Photo 2.

Did you remove them from LL Photo 1 and LL Photo 2 and put all the images in your "PHOTOS" folder?

LL, that was the problem...but you are just a few minutes too late.

I called upon my favorite superheroine, my lovely little wife, and she fixed it.

I looked at the path the photos should have taken by looking at Killebrew's photos in another league and saw they should have been in the game photos folder.

She knew how to moved them to the proper folder.
