pitching rotation?
just a stupid question that I couldnt find an answer to searching the forums. So here it is. does it matter where I put my pitchers in the rotation? cause i've been having some pitching problems and brought in Horacio Ramirez who has been in the minors since ootp5 and has bloomed in ootp6, has a 3.25 ERA, 4-1 record, and is my #5 pitcher behind Barry Zito who has FLOPPED! from a consistent 3.00 ERA(ootp5) to a 4-5+ ERA(ootp6).

If you're asking if rotation position has an effect on performance, I'd have to say no... EXCEPT indirectly because of the schedule. If you use OOTP's schedules, with the entire league having the same off days, generally #1s will face #1s, #2s versus #2s, and so on. This will deflate the top pitchers' records, and inflate the bottom pitchers' records, because of the level of their competition.
Otherwise, rotation order doesn't matter a whole lot, other than #5 being skipped once in a while. On a related note, has anyone else noticed "Start highest rested starter" behaving strangely? I thought it would be "Start the highest non-tired starter available" but it seems to work as "Start the most rested starter available"... which isn't the same thing. Anybody else seen this?
