IMPORTANT !! -Backup Your League before trading deadline!!!

I saw I similar post a while back and didn't pay it much mind ... BUT

My 7 year old league locked up on the 1st day of "Deadline Trading". No matter what I did, at the end of the game, I would get a trade offer email, click yes (or no) .. and the game would freeze ... it was in a CPU loop. The only recourse was to reboot.

I was lucky and had a recent backup ... but restoring it led to the same problem no matter what I did. I tried everything I could think of.

The only way out was to restore the league again, turn off Computer Trading, and simulate a few days worth of games until the trading deadline passed in August.

I them turned trading back on .. hopefully I wont hitthe same probel when trading starts again next year.

Running OOTP6.03 on Win-XP -- Nice system -- Up to date MS patch wise.
