Baseball history

This may be a stupid question but, as I've been told before, there are no stupid questions, just stupid people...

anyway, if I run a historical league using AnKits DB or something else, when I get to the final year of importable data, will the game just make up fictional rookies? (I would assume so but I want to be sure)...

Yes, the game will then start creating fictional players.
