No playoffs edit: NOW FIXED

my second season ended using CBL's rosters.

When it came to playoff time, there were no playoffs.

Upon further investigation, there were two interlleague games scheduled in very late October between the Orioles and Diamondbacks.

I had started to just enter the playoff games myself when i found the two interleague games, so I assumed that the game did not realize the season ended with two more games scheduled.

So I deleted the playoof games I had entered myself and dseleted the two mystery games.

How do I get the game to go ahead and insert the playoff games?

EDIT: I fixed the problem by deleting all the games I added and deleting the mystery game then completing an off day, the game then added the correct playoff games on its own.

Do I need to add them myself?

If I do add them myself, how can I be sure that the game will recognize them as playoff games and not just more regular season games?

Hmmm . . . that's an interesting one . . . you may have to mod some files . . . ask some of the mod wizards, I really don't know.

Does OOTP6 have rain outs?

No, OOTP does not do rain outs or other postponements of games. The rescheduling algorithms would be a nightmare...

OOTP will automatically schedule the playoff games. However, if you are unsatisifed with the schedule, you can delete the games and add them yourself. So, for example, if you wanted to change the home field rotation for a best-of-7 series to 2-2-1-1-1 instead of the default 2-3-2, you could do this. However, make sure you do NOT change the matchups. If you do, the playoffs will get screwed up. You can only change the dates and the home team for the playoffs, not the actual matchups.
