My whole league is broke!
Any ideas as to why 95% of the teams in my 30 team league have negative 5 mil cash on hand at start of third season? Everyone is broke as hell. One team, Vancouver (runner-ups last year), had about $12 million on hand so I traded a good pitcher to them for a piece of crap wash-up and $12 million.
There are a ton of 4 and 5 star free agents sitting out because no one can afford them. One $17 million dollar player is now willing to play for $6 million but there are no takers. |

Up the TV Contract minimum.
I was in a similar position in my MLB rosters league . . . I doubled the $5 million broadcast minimum up to $10 million . . . righted most team's ships. Other thing you can do is alter the market sizes of some of the clubs . . . set them to average at worst. |

Maybe there are too many good players in the league?
Anyway I would check some things: Attendence.. is anyone showing up for the games? Ticket prices maybe are too high or too low.. Telivision contracts.. you can set min contracts in the league settings raise that up a bit to bring it more in line with the average payrolls. Maybe check the cash too, give every team a infusion of cash to encourage some spending until the other changes above take hold. Lower the league min. salary down more, dont know what its set at but could make some difference. You can also not give signing bonuses to draft choices either if your doing that that would save some cash. Ive had no cash problems with my league but hopefully those suggestions will help. |

Seriously, do what the other guy suggested and increase the national minimum. |
