Game won't load

No error messages, nothing. It simply stopped loading. Double-click and you get a big, fat hour glass for about a second, yet nothing happens. The problem may have to do with the fact that my brother somehow installed various ad/spyware programs and then attempted to get rid of them with some program. I guess that's what I get for being away and leaving my poor OOTP alone. I won't even do it again, I promise! Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

BTW, I'm running XP pro, and this is the first real problem I've had with v4, v5 or v6.

You may just want to try to re-install the game. Sounds like one of the files has been overwritten. A re-install should take care of that. Just install the setup file over top of what's already out there.

Tried it and nothing's changed. Frustration is setting in.....thanks though.

You can use Filemon to track if there is a File missing or some Folder Rigths are changed by the Spyware

Completely reinstalled everything and the problem's still there....I really, really don't want to reformat. If someone can help it'll be appreciated.

Perfect, when I use filemod it shows certain dlls missing, and I download all but some ptio.dll....Couple of instances it says "Buffer Overflow", whatever that means.

You may need to move your league files to another location, then uninstall OOTP. Then reinstall. The uninstall will remove all of the game, including the dlls. Then re-install. It shouldn't effect your license.
