Graphics glitches in 6.03

When I installed 6.03 I started getting these anoying grey lines around the screeen. When the status bar is moving it also shows up right beside the real one greyed out but visible. I have a Radeon 9600 pro and the latest drivers. The problem accured when swithing from 6.02 to 6.03.

same card same problem ; disable 3d mode and it will fix this
