Catobase question ????

Guys,

Here's an easy one for you. I'm simming about 20 seasons then doing the "worse team takeover" and I'm noticing that it takes some time to do the catobase each year so....

Is it possible to "Import Stats" each year and then "Create HTML Pages" after 20 years of "Import Stats" (typically I would import and create each season)????

Yep, sure can. In fact, right now I'm here waiting on the HTML files to complete having done the same thing completing redoing the database from the beginning using the latest update. Just make sure under options you don't have it doing only the latest yerar

I'm a Catobase newbie. I'm in 5th season of my solo league. I have never used Catobase previously. Can I run Catobase after this 5th season have it generate reports for the all 5 seasons at once? I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like the anwser to this one because I have gathered from reading on the board that this is not possible. I want to make sure there is no way around this problem.

Any help is appreciated,

You have to import the data from each season because not all of what CatoBase uses is kept from one season to the next in OOTP. What I have done, and what I think is a good recommendation in general, is to zip up a copy of your .lg folder for a league after the playoffs just before doing the "Proceed to next season". On the one hand it is a backup point to which you may restore if the league crashed at some point the next season. Plus, if you did not import the data into CatoBase at that time originally, you can unzip the .lg folder for each year and import the data like it was back at that season (just make sure the input options are set to the proper folders).
