Did an owner quit your league?

If an owner quit your league halfway through the season and you need a replacement, I'm for hire.

I've been an ootp customer since v5, so I have good knowledge of how the game works. I have not played in a online league before (only solo), so I'm hoping to pick up a spot in an established league as a fill in... and hopefully you'll find how dedicated I am to my team (no matter how much the team sucks) and league and want to keep me on when the season is over.

What I'm looking for:

1) An established league. Reason: people who quit when things aren't going well suck. I know with an established league most of the owners would be as dedicated to their teams and are as competitive as I am.

2) I'd prefer using real rosters (current or historical). Reason: Familiarity. I'd also prefer a league structure to closely resemble that of MLB. I have a full understanding of the financial/transactional/structure of MLB and a lot of deviation from it would probably cause confusion for me.

3) league must have a website.

Like I said, I'll take any team/opening you may have no matter how bad the team or what stage of the season it is. PM if you need me!!!!

thanks.

P.S. It may not look like it right now, but the Astros are the best team in baseball and will win the World Series this year.

Though they are both fantasy leagues I high recommend either the WLB or the NABC. I used to be a part of both, but because of a readjustment of priorities, had had to drop OOTP all together. They are really fantastic leagues with a great GMs. And Gary Graves is the bomb!

ABL Old-School has two openings the Twins and the Whitesox.

ABL is a OOTP5 league which is approaching the deadline of 1998 after starting play in 1996. We have an active owner base which loves to write articles and we tend to get 10-13 particpants at live sims. My e-mail is remangiii@aol.com or you may instant message me at remangiii on AOL.

Thanks.

The BigDog Baseball league is in it's first season and we are looking for solid, active GM's. We are a modern day, real player league using the 2004 rosters. You can see the owners list, rules and league file on the bottom left of the homepage. Check us out, and sign up on the message boards to pick up a team. None of the available teams have been touched(no trades or FA signings) so they are brand spankin new!
