Question about Player Development

With OOTP6.03, I've started to really get into the solo leagues. And in one of mine, using Halofan's roster set, I got this message for one of my player development's, "Tim Olson seems to have taken his game to the next level!" I wish I would have known his previous stats before-hand, but he was a crappy, and still sorta is...career minor leaguer. What exactly does this talent bump (I assume) do to one's talent ratings/ratings in general?

I've seen it three times, I believe, in my solo league. Twice it seemed to be a ratings, not talent, increase. The third time, it seemed like the guy's ratings and talent increased.

I haven't seen that statement, not yet anyway. And I've played a Lot of OOTP6. Strange.

I think it's an addition to 6.03.

Wow! What kind of offense do you have in a (mnor) league where you can go 18-3 with a 4.29 ERA?

I just had it happen to Ryan Langerhans. His new talent is 7/4/7/6/7. Could someone say what they are default in HaloFan's roster set?

Sounds to me like the coach is saying ‘the next level’ as in going from A to AA.
