Here's an idea!

How about stop upgrading every year and expecting us to pay full price for a new game...geez, but $35 every darn year is getting on my nerves.

Well, it's the nature of software. If you purchased DMB, you'd have to buy a new version each year and pay closer to $50 or $60.

How is this any different from the Madden series and NCAA football series? It's cheaper! Be happy it's price is what it is.

Just to let you know what many companies do is they put out a new version for $40-50 and also make you purchase a new "player disk" which is $15-25 on top of that. That equals out to be $55-75 as compared to $35 and even this past year we offered a pre-order for $26 (before the game was released).

if you don't like it, don't buy the new version and make one yourself Do you expect a company, like OOTP to make a new game and get nothing for the game? They would go out of buisness before you know it. And $35 isn't a lot of money. Especially for the product they put out.

Ah, I've been missing you guys for the past couple of days - my cats killed my monitor (don't ask) and I was off of work so I couldn't even log in there. Anyway, one new monitor later I come back and see THIS? Sheesh. Well, at least IBF put it on the right board ... I guess.

And Steve??? Posting in the "suggestion box"??? Wow - things are turning up

Hey, here's an idea: < sarcasm alert >

Why doesn't Markus spend every waking moment of the next year-plus making the paragon of all video games and then give it to us for free?!

I've suggested this one before:

Raise the price of OOTP to $350!!! Or even $1000!!!!

I'm sure there will be much less clueless and annoying n00bs on these boards.

The OOTP Lease

For those who think the cost of buying is too much. Pick the lease option instead. For a small downpayment of $30-40, your monthly payments are as low as $5!!! If at the end of your lease you choose to upgrade, you may do so for a small, $20-30 upgrade fee and then standard fees apply.

Not available in Utah or Colorado, prices subject to change, please consult your physician before ingesting any OOTP product.

Don't mean to sound like a broken record but no one is forcing you to buy it.

I'm a software engineer and you can trust me or not, but $35 is CHEAP for the amount of time that goes into software development. Speaking from experience, you have no clue how many hours these guys put into a game like this, especially when it's a small company with only a handful of employees. It's a labor of love and you're lucky that they are devoting themselves to an entertainment product like this where a paycheck is NOT guaranteed and a 40 hour work-week is only a dream, when they could be making $50-100 per HOUR as a consultant and spending time with their families.

OOTP crew, you guys rock!
