Problem with Catobase & the HOF
I am running Catobase 6.1.1 and it is working great. My only question is how do I get my retired players into the Hall Of Fame? I have probably 50 or so players who were retired into the Hall before my season began. Will these players not be available to be placed into the Hall of Fame? If a player retires from the game and is placed into the Hall of Fame by OOTP, will he automatically be placed into the Hall of Fame in CATO when I run my next season's update?
Thanks for any help you can offer! Last edited by Cowboys3356; 06-30-2004 at 09:02 PM. |

Did you try going back through the old years in the database, going to "edit" > "Hall of Fame" and then manually entering them?

For the past, you'll need to manually add any missing HOFs (Edit/Hall of Fame). For future season, CatoBase should automatically add the players listed in the lnews.txt file as being inducted in the Hall of Fame.

Well my 1987 season starts with a "premade" RETIRED.DAT file so all of the Hall of Famers like Ruth, etc are in there and already retired. When I go into the edit Hall of Fame, players like Ruth, Cobb, etc do not appear and can not be added.
