Defensive award question
Folks,
I noticed that no left fielder was given a Defensive Award after the first season in my solo league. What are the criteria for winning a defensive award? Is there a minimum number of games or innings? Thanks Dan |

Hmmm...I didn't think so. Were there any LF batting qualifiers?

There were two left fielders with enough plate appearances to qualify for batting awards.

I have seen a very, very rare occasion where some position doesn't get a Gold Glove selection. I have not been able to find out exactly why this is though. There may be some fielding qualification that I'm not aware of.

I've also seen a LF with a .953 fielding percentage and a dozen errors win a Gold Glove, so I'm not really sure what the game's looking at to determine who wins those. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, personally.
