Lew Ford

Lew Ford
Lyrics by Tim
(Song to the Tune of 'I Love You')

I love Lew
You should too
I love Le-ew, yes I do
With a Big Hit here
And a Run from me to you
Won't you say you Love Lew too.

LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEW.

If it wasn't for just one measley day - Lew Ford would be the #1 Rookie this year. Lew Ford has been the Twins MVP and has done great for them this year. I take back everything I've said about Lew - HE IS AWESOME!!!!

I discovered Lew Ford last year as he tore apart my league with the Diamondbacks. As soon as I saw him pop up with the Twins in real life I signed him aboard my Fantasy League. A decision I definitely don't regret. Anyone here write him in on the ballot? He deserves to go for sure!

For me, finding out Lew Ford was white was one of those "wha?" moments. Sometimes, you just convince yourself a player is white or black, and it just throws you. It would probably still surprise a lot of people to learn that Khalil Greene is white.

Glad to know I'm not the only one 6. I almost fell off my chair when I saw Lew Ford was just another honkie.

I didnt do that with Lew (since I saw him when I first heard of him), but I did that with Khalil as well.

I know what you mean about Khalil Greene. I sometimes still think he is black.

I've posted this in other threads, but I had the chance to "work with" Lew when I was an intern with the Lowell Spinners. He was a solid player but nobody would have thought he would have gone this far as fast as he did.

I assumed Johnny Damon was black when he first came up.

Sorta, he was of Middle Eastern descent. Not black, but you see what I mean.

LOL, I thought that Garret Anderson was white until I saw his picture in Baseball Weekly 3 or 4 years ago.

Lew Ford looks like that kid from The Toy (w/ Richard Pryor) all grown up. Except that kid actually grew up to be a porn star.
