Relationships

One area that hasn't been explored has been the relationship aspect of Major Leauge players.

Primarily, it would be nice to know if players with alike names are related in anyway. We had the Alou family and the Boone family (and now the Drew brothers). Maybe a players bloodlines could be mentioned in the history section?

Secondarily, Siblings, friends affects the mood of certain players. For instance, i seemed to recall Jason Giambi threated the A's if they demoted his brother Jeremy. Mike Piazza seems to benefit from the presence of Todd Ziele.

Yeah, also relationships with other general managers too!

Interesting. These relationships are taken into account in soccer's Championship Manager (soon to be Football Manager). Perhaps with the merger this will be something that comes into play.

Oooooh... I like that. Especially if you burn them in a deal... maybe they won't deal with you again.
