All Start game question
How do you watch/play the all-star game? On my schedule it just says "complete day". Players were picked for the game but I wasnt able to watch it and I dont even know the results from the game.
Thanks. |

You do not see the AL/NL linescore box with the play or sim option?... I never encountered that one....

Yes I see the play/sim options but when I push the option I get an error stating that I have too many players on my allstar team roster....

I play with 21 man rosters and in OOTP6 it won't let me play the all star game.
There is another thread about this same issue. Steely Glint said you should not play with less than 25 on a roster. "I wouldn't use any roster size below 25. Bigger, yes. Smaller, no."...(Steely Glint) Guess I will just not schedule an all star game. Last edited by Eugene Church; 05-30-2004 at 04:16 PM. |

My softball league has 17-man rosters and I had no problems with the all-star game running when I ran test seasons. However, 15-man rosters gave me a 'not enough players on the roster' error.

Did you import a schedule or use stickware? When you do one of those two sometimes you have to 'reconfirm' the all star date and input it in the edit schedule area. Any time I import from stickware I make sure I put in the all star date or else sometimes it does not transfer over.

When/if you import a new schedule..... go to the date the all star game should play and it most likely won't be there. But when you click on the "all star game date" button and put in the correct date (even if its the same date that already shows) it will then appear the next time you "refresh" that date (ie. go a day ahead and then back to the same day)

Ok, I did that and you were right. I now see the game. However, it does not show me who won or what the score is. LOL, maybe they boycotted the All-Start game.

If its already past the time the game wasn't played, but it should be there for next year. Just remember to input the date of the All Star game the next time you upload a Stickware sched. and all is fine.
