Can you saddle up with the best of them? Draw a gun in under .071 seconds? Swindle any dazzling lady off her feet with just a snap of the fingers?

If you answered yes to the previous three questions (or if you answered no, but always thought you COULD do these things if you weren't so lazy) then you are wanted over in the brand new 1977 historical league FLASH.

FLASH is a brand new league that starts its first 15 day simulation tomorrow (Monday), when the sun goes down. For a little more information on FLASH, feel free to check out our opening recruitment thread

FLASH is a league designed to apply the most in-depth free agency system possible. I, nor my partner in crime Bill Howard, run a team in FLASH, as we act as the player agents. We use 10 different factors to decide where Free Agents go, as you can see if you read the rules page

So far we have an amazing core of owners, with a great mix of native american and cowboy blood (newbies and veterans). We ask that you please read the rules and understand that FLASH will take a bit more effort than your casual "saloon beer bottle breaking over the head of your foe" contest. Please send me an email to akrobat@mlb-history.com if you are interested, with your name, email, and league experience (also AIM if you have it, as most owners do). We have an active bunch, as 10 owners have already written pre-season articles (which boosts your teams' value)

I can't believe I left out the team in the post

Anyway, we need a Rangers owner by tonight if possible. Now is the perfect time to join as the team would be entirely in your control, with no CPU/other human interaction. Transform the Rangers into the powerhouse that they never were. Our first sim tonight is live at 10 pm eastern, so I'll be accepting a new owner up until 9 pm eastern. If you shoot me an email about the team, try to stay online as I will be able to get back to you within the hour.
