Importing League Q
I am using OOTP 5 currently.
Bascially what I wish to do is create a list or database of teams and players--possibly from scratch--and import them into OOTP. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, are there any tutorials? |

just a bump...this question is way above me.
Maybe some of our resident geniuses will reply. Last edited by Eugene Church; 05-10-2004 at 11:48 PM. |

I will elaborate then. I know you can import the Lahman database. But I don't want those teams. I want some way to create my own list and import it. I believe its faster to do this than the work with the OOTP IDE to create hundreds of players, dozens of teams, etc.
Even if I have to create a new league with OOTP generated players....I wouldn't care if I had to edit some data file. Maybe this is possible in 6 but not 5. If this is possible at all, I will be getting OOTP 6. |

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do.
Do you want to know how to create your own database similar to the Lahman Database? Or do you just want to create your own players? If so, what kind of league do you want?...fictional teams?...real teams? Do you want a league that is already created? Or do you want to create it yourself? You can import an OOTP5 league into OOTP6.
