Player trades

Just noticed that when doing trades with the AI, if you select one of their players, when they list the players they will accept to do the deal, the only players the game will show are the ones on your 40 man roster. As far as a I can see, they never ask for anyone not on the 40 man roster although adding some one that isn't on it will still get the deal done.
