Expansion/financials question

Looking through the Expansion FAQ by Vibert, I noticed that it advised to try and avoid teams changing leagues because of possible errors in financial calculations.

With the way my expansion is going, two teams are changing leagues to stay geographically correct.

What would I be looking for in the financials of the two teams when they change leagues? When would such errors happen?

I plan on backing up before performing the actual expansion anyway, as always.

By the way, I'm running a fictional solo league with 20 teams, looking to expand to 24 teams. So you have an idea of what I'm working with. Currently I have two divisions with five teams each in two leagues, and I'm looking to keep the two leagues with three divisions of four teams each with the four expansion teams.
